RALPH MOTTOLA, JR., P.E.

PRINCIPAL

Mr. Mottola has over thirty years of engineering experience including all phases of mechanical and electrical systems design and project manag ment. Prior to co-founding Mottola Rini, he served as Director of Engineering, Senior Vice President, and Project Manager with other consulting engineering firms.

In addition to his engineering duties, Mr. Mottola perform the firm's master planning and building investigation tasks. Included are field surveys, equipment evaluation, and code and functional deficiency analysis. He has extensive experience in providing master planning from the initial surveys and reports through project design and construction. He is responsible for engineering design, review of all projects, quality assurance, preliminary design and office standards.

A sample of his projects include Newark Symphony Hall, Newark, N.J.; New York State Theater, New York, N.Y.; Peninsula Nursing Home, Far Rockaway, New York; St. Mary's Hospital, Bayside, New York; South Hampton Dialysis Center, Southampton, N.Y.; Passaic Office and Garage, Passaic, N.J.; Bethpage Office Building, Bethpage, N.Y.; Children's Aid Society, New York, N.Y.; Bi-Cultural Day School, Stamford, Ct.; Air Industries, Bay Shore, N.Y.; Chase Manhattan Bank, New York, N.Y.; Church of the Holy Apostle, New York, N.Y.; and Trinity Baptist Church, New York, N.Y. These projects included computer facilities, offices, classrooms, shops, laboratories, auditoriums, vault areas, and telephone/communications rooms. All projects required mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection engineering design. In addition to the above projects, Mr. Mottola has had extensive experience on projects throughout the United States and internationally on projects in Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Doha and Antigua.

ANTHONY RINI, III, P.E.

PRINCIPAL

Mr. Rini has almost thirty years of engineering design and project management experiences with a specialty in plumbing, sanitary, and fire protection engineering. Mr. Rini also has a combined 35 years experience in the plumbing industry.

He earned a Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Civil Engineering at the Cooper Union. Before and during college, Mr. Rini worked as a mechanic for a plumbing contractor and has a thorough understanding of field situations.

A sample of engineering projects include Hotel Maria, NY; Fort Wadsworth Naval Station, Staten Island, NY; The Hotel Metro, New York, NY; Archer Avenue Health Center, Jamaica, NY; Rutgers University, Cooke College Laboratory Center, NJ; Hotel Elysee, NY; among many others.

In addition to the above projects, Mr. Rini had also performed a Master Plan Survey and Plumbing Report for the Health Sciences Division of Columbia University, which was part of an overall M/E survey for 1,200,000 sq. ft. of clinics, laboratories, and administration space; Plumbing and Fire Protection Design for the Advanced Technology Center, New Jersey Institute of Technology, Newark, NJ; Lipton Tea Facility, Englewood Cliffs, NJ; Plumbing system designs for Southampton Dialysis Center for Southampton Hospital, Southampton, NY; Plumbing system renovations for the Central Tray Service Modernization Project, Veterans Administration Medical Center, Brooklyn, NY;

Mr. Rini is a Licensed Professional Engineer in New York and is a Past International President of the American Society of Sanitary Engineers. Mr. Rini has lectured at the New York School of Interior Design as an adjunct professor.
